Job Title: FullStack Developer IV
Work Authorization: Open to W2 and C2C candidates.
Location: Richfield, Minnesota (Hybrid Onsite 1 day per week required).
Position Type: Full-time, Contract.
Department Overview:
We are part of the Discover & Personalization sub-organization within the E-Comm, Category & Loyalty division under Ram in DAT. Our team owns the discovery experiences for bestbuy.com and the flagship customer app, ensuring seamless navigation and optimized shopping journeys.
Project Description:
The selected candidate will join the Discover Experience Team, contributing to:

Customer app (React Native) development.

Web navigation components (React) for bestbuy.com.
The team's mission is to craft innovative and scalable product discovery experiences that meet the demands of a top 5 e-commerce platform.
Position Summary:
We're seeking a passionate engineer to:

Collaborate with a world-class mobile & web engineering team delivering impactful results through rapid iterations.

Build meaningful React and React Native experiences that are reliable, user-centric, and validated.

Contribute directly to feature design, architecture, and implementation while fostering a culture of innovation.

Partner with developers, Product Management, Design, and QA teams.

Share your passion for web and mobile development as well as the services powering these experiences.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
8+ years of software development experience (6+ in web development with JavaScript, React, Node.js).

3+ years of mobile app development.
-
2+ years of experience working on a global/distributed team.

Proficiency with server-side rendering design patterns for web development.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) OR equivalent experience (additional 2 years without a degree).
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):

Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, GraphQL, Zustand, Charles Proxy Tool.

Test-driven development and Agile methodology experience.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira.

Proficiency with UNIX/Linux/macOS command line.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable interacting with small/large groups and executives.

Flexible problem-solving and strong product focus mindset.
