We have an exciting Remote opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer with our industry-leading client.



Rate: $68 - $72 / hr. w2

  • Responsibilities: Collaborate with the development and testing teams to understand product requirements and create effective test plans.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute automated test cases and analyze test results.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
  • Continuously improve and maintain the automation test suite.
  • Design test strategies, execution methods, and success measures of both functional testing (requirement-based, business-process-based, and use-case) and non-functional testing (load, performance, stress, security, stability, compatibility - backward and forward, data migration, data conversion, configuration, and usability) for the project
  • Track QA program interdependencies, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful project implementation and deployment
  • Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans
  • Manage testing feedback, lead defect prioritization, and communicate regularly with discipline leads to ensure proper resolution in a timely fashion
  • Manage bug tracking process, track issues status and resolution progress, and create quality matrices for the project team

Requirements:
  • 5+ years demonstrated expertise with developing and implementing test plans, test strategies, and test cases for web applications and software
  • 5+ years experience using quality management/bug tracking systems such as JIRA and other tools
  • Understanding and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing quality assurance reports and defect tracking
  • Experience using automated testing software (e.g., Selenium, Junit)

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
