Role Overview:
The UX Designer will be responsible for crafting intuitive and user centric digital experiences across insurance platforms This role requires strong proficiency in user experience design principles hands on expertise with design tools and a deep understanding of insurance workflows and customer journeys The designer will contribute to the development of responsive interfaces that support policy servicing claims management and customer engagement
Key Responsibilities:
Design wireframes prototypes and user flows for insurance applications including portals mobile apps and servicing platforms
Conduct user research usability testing and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions
Translate insurance business requirements into functional design components and user interfaces
Collaborate with product owners developers and testers to ensure design feasibility and consistency
Apply accessibility standards and responsive design principles across devices and platforms
Maintain design systems and reusable components aligned with insurance branding and compliance guidelines
Analyze user behavior and feedback to optimize workflows and improve digital touchpoints
Support iterative design processes within agile delivery models
Required Skills:
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Adobe XD Sketch or Axure
Strong understanding of UX principles interaction design and information architecture
Experience designing for insurance platforms including policy issuance claims processing and customer onboarding
Familiarity with HTML CSS and frontend development constraints
Ability to apply accessibility standards and regulatory guidelines relevant to insurance
Exposure to analytics tools and user behavior tracking methods
Experience in creating responsive and adaptive design solutions
Knowledge of design systems and component based UI frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in designing digital experiences for life health or general insurance products
Experience with personalization self service features and customer journey mapping
Familiarity with agile methodologies and design sprints
Certification in UX design or human centered design practices
