Job Details



Seeking a highly skilled and elite Senior Technical Project Manager to join the team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and executing complex technology projects related to our energy transportation and distribution infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe, and have strong experience with cloud and data platform projects. This role requires exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills to navigate and deliver high-impact initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:



  1. Project Planning and Initiation:


    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.


  2. Team Leadership and Management:


    • Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subject matter experts.

    • Foster a collaborative and agile working environment, setting clear roles and responsibilities for team members and providing guidance throughout the project lifecycle.


  3. Project Execution:


    • Execute project plans, monitor progress, and ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

    • Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing proactive mitigation strategies as needed.

    • Facilitate Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and Program Increment (PI) Planning.


  4. Communication and Reporting:


    • Maintain open and transparent communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.

    • Generate and distribute project reports, including progress reports, budget reports, and risk assessments.


  5. Quality Assurance:


    • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with company objectives.

    • Conduct quality reviews and inspections as required.


  6. Resource and Vendor Management:


    • Manage project resources, including personnel and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.

    • Oversee relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets.


  7. Documentation and Compliance:


    • Ensure that project documentation, including technical specifications and compliance records, is accurate and complete.

    • Ensure that projects comply with all applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Extensive experience leading large, complex technology projects, with a track record of successful project delivery.

  • Proven experience managing Agile and SAFe methodologies and leading SAFe Program Increment Planning sessions.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

  • Experience with cloud platforms, data platforms, and managing complex technology budgets.

  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
