Technical Lead -SSIS

Role: Technical Lead - SSIS

Location: New Jersey (Remote)

Primary Skills: SSIS, Python using OOPs (Object Oriented Programming)

Must have insurance background with any policy admin system experience (Guidewire / Duck Creek)

Key Responsibilities

• Good understanding of ETL and ELT best practices and experience with ETL and ETL Mapping documentation
• Good knowledge of SSIS Packages, Stored Procedures and SQL
• Experience in performing Impact Analysis on SQL Objects / SSIS packages for enhancements.
• Establish best practices on database designs / SQL across the organization.
• Experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing tools and technologies.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Proven strength in interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills with proven strength in applying root cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a proactive, contextually appropriate manner.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Dedicated to excellence in one s work; strong organizational skills; detail-oriented and thorough.
• Able to prioritize work by dividing time, attention and effort between current project workload and on-going support tasks.
• Ability to solve technical challenges faced by the team.
• Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.

What you need (knowledge, Skills & Experience)

• Over 10+ years of experience working on SQL Server and ETL tools like SSIS
• Strong programming experience with Python using OOPs (Object Oriented Programming) design principles
• Leadership Skills, Mentoring, Onsite/Offshore
• Insurance Domain with any policy admin system exp(GW/DC/OS)
