Job Details
Role: Technical Lead - SSIS
Location: New Jersey (Remote)
Primary Skills: SSIS, Python using OOPs (Object Oriented Programming)
Must have insurance background with any policy admin system experience (Guidewire / Duck Creek)
Key Responsibilities
- Good understanding of ETL and ELT best practices and experience with ETL and ETL Mapping documentation
- Good knowledge of SSIS Packages, Stored Procedures and SQL
- Experience in performing Impact Analysis on SQL Objects / SSIS packages for enhancements.
- Establish best practices on database designs / SQL across the organization.
- Experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing tools and technologies.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Proven strength in interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills with proven strength in applying root cause analysis.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a proactive, contextually appropriate manner.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all levels
- Dedicated to excellence in one s work; strong organizational skills; detail-oriented and thorough.
- Able to prioritize work by dividing time, attention and effort between current project workload and on-going support tasks.
- Ability to solve technical challenges faced by the team.
- Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.
What you need (knowledge, Skills & Experience)
- Over 10+ years of experience working on SQL Server and ETL tools like SSIS
- Strong programming experience with Python using OOPs (Object Oriented Programming) design principles
- Leadership Skills, Mentoring, Onsite/Offshore
- Insurance Domain with any policy admin system exp(GW/DC/OS)
