Job Details
We are seeking a Project Manager to work with strong Infrastructure and preferably Public Sector experience to support a variety of projects including the priority Core Infrastructure Upgrade and the rollout of Windows 11 project. This is an On-site position with the possibility of remote work. (Must currently live within an hour and a half drive of San Antonio.)
Requirements:
Yrs Experience
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science or a closely related field, and 5-7 years of Project Management experience in a technological environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
7 Must have experience managing IT projects, specifically the management of technology projects related to networking, IT infrastructure, data centers, compute & storage, and security
7 Must have experience working with and managing technology vendors
7 Strong knowledge of information technology industry and emerging technologies
7 Ability to show assertiveness, leadership, problem-solving skills, and teambuilding; ability to persuade and influence others, drive collaboration, achieve effective solutions, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
8 Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner across functional and technical departments, both verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, stakeholders, County employees, Elected/Appointed Officials, outside organizations and agencies and vendors
