Job Title: Oracle EBS HCM Functional Consultant (OTL & Payroll)
Location: Onshore (Remote)
Duration: 6 Months
Experience Level: Senior (Required experience in Oracle EBS 12.2)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS HCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) and Payroll modules. The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2, including configuration, requirement gathering, functional design, and supporting end-to-end implementation or enhancement cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Lead functional workstream activities for Oracle EBS HCM, OTL, and Payroll modules.
Conduct workshops with business users to gather, analyse, and refine requirements.
Configure Oracle EBS 12.2 HCM modules based on business needs, ensuring best practice alignment.
Support end-to-end lifecycle, including design, testing (SIT & UAT), cutover planning, and post-production support.
Collaborate with technical teams to support customisations, extensions, integrations, and reports.
Develop functional documentation, including BR100s, MD50s, test scripts, solution design documents, and configuration workbooks.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide functional resolutions.
Support payroll cycles, testing scenarios, and statutory compliance updates (if required).
Assist in change management, user enablement, and stakeholder communication.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience working with Oracle EBS HCM applications.
Mandatory expertise in:
Oracle Time & Labour (OTL)
Oracle Payroll
Oracle HR Core/Absence Management (preferred)
Strong hands-on working experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 (minimum 12.2.x).
Experience in full life-cycle implementation and production support environments.
Strong understanding of fast formulas, payroll configuration, accrual plans, and legislative aspects (nice to have).
Ability to work in cross-functional environments and interface with leadership and business process owners.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle AME, BI Publisher, and provisioning roles is a plus.
Experience working with onshore/offshore delivery models.
Ability to support testing cycles and production deployment activities.
Oracle certifications preferred (not mandatory).
