Job Details
We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst with strong public sector experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Grants Management, Permitting Systems, or other systems/processes typically used in state and local government agencies. This role requires strong communication skills and a native-level command of English, as it involves frequent interaction with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with government clients to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories within Salesforce.
- Support Salesforce implementation projects focused on public sector use cases (grants, permits, citizen services, etc.).
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and product demos.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure business requirements are effectively delivered.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve business processes through Salesforce capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, preferably in public sector projects.
- Proven experience with Grants Management, Permit Systems, or similar workflows.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of state and local government operations and challenges.
- Native English speaker or excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Business Analyst) are needed.
