We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Due Diligence Consultant to support middle-market M&A transaction engagements on a contract basis. This role involves deep collaboration with private equity firms, lenders, and corporate clients to drive high-quality due diligence and financial analysis for buy-side and sell-side deals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital market transactions
Analyze key Income Statement and Balance Sheet components to identify financial risks and business performance drivers
Evaluate net working capital, debt and debt-like items, and key operational KPIs
Draft and deliver detailed Quality of Earnings (QoE) reports and related deliverables
Produce customized analysis of normalized earnings, valuation inputs, budget achievability, indebtedness, and carve-out financials
Engage with senior-level stakeholders and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
Support proposal development and participate in client discussions as required
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
Minimum of 7 years' experience in financial due diligence, audit, or transaction advisory services
CPA preferred or in progress
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and SEC reporting standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and business acumen
Experience with private equity clients or complex transactions preferred
