Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team, a leading player in the dental insurance industry.
- As a Sr. BA, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' operations.
- With a deep understanding of EDI standards, particularly EDI 836, 835, and 834, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless data exchange between our clients and their partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Conduct in-depth interviews with stakeholders to gather requirements for new projects or enhancements to existing systems. Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement through data analysis and process mapping.
- System Design and Documentation: Develop detailed system designs based on gathered requirements. Create comprehensive documentation, including use cases, data models, and technical specifications.
- EDI Implementation and Maintenance: Implement EDI standards (EDI 836, 835, 834) to ensure secure and efficient data exchange. Maintain and troubleshoot EDI systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Data Integration and Validation: Integrate data from various sources into our systems. Validate data integrity and accuracy to ensure reliable reporting and decision-making.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure adherence to compliance standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, and ISO 27001. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data. Training and
- Support: Provide training to internal and external stakeholders on new systems and processes. Offer ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption and usage of new technologies.
Preferred Skills: Experience with ServiceNow or similar CRM systems. Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and other relevant compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with a focus on EDI standards and dental insurance domain.
Skills:
- Proficient in EDI standards (EDI 836, 835, 834). Strong understanding of dental insurance processes and regulations.
- Experience with data integration tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
