Role: Electronics Technician (5 positions)
Location: 5 days onsite in Washington, DC, Atlantic City, NJ or Oklahoma City, OK (must be willing to travel to different sites fairly often say up to 50% travel)

Summary:
Seeking Electronics Integration Technicians to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with modernizing, installing, maintaining, and integrating systems supporting the Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS). This role requires extensive travel across the U.S. and focuses on IT networking, digital telecommunications, and electronics system integration. Candidates should have experience with network infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and troubleshooting electronic systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and integrate electronic and networking equipment at FAA sites nationwide.
- Provide technical assistance during digital systems and IP telecommunications cutovers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, telecommunications and IT networking issues.
- Conduct technical site surveys and develop integration plans for electronics and network equipment moves, adds and changes (MAC).
- Ensure compliance with FAA installation, safety and cybersecurity standards.
- Work with FAA engineers and program managers to implement system changes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system installations, configurations, and troubleshooting performed and submit as-built records to project configuration management (CM) staff.
- Maintain travel and incidental cost records, and submit timely reports of travel expenses on a regular basis in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT networking, telecommunications, or electronics integration.
- Experience with the installation, configuring and functional check-out of LAN/WAN networking, IP-based telecommunications, and digital systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network and electronic systems.
- Understanding of telecommunications, VoIP, and/or radio communications systems.
- Ability to work both independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work in and around critical operational equipment.
- Ability to travel extensively across the U.S. for extended periods.
Preferred:
- FAA or federal telecommunications/IT electronics installation work experience, especially at remote FAA facilities
- Experience with FAA NextGen, Wireless LTE, VSAT, VoIP, or cloud-based networking.
- Knowledge of FAA cybersecurity and digital communications standards, safety protocols, and regulations
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or fiber optics certification.
Additional Information:
- Must be eligible to obtain necessary clearances to work, including FAA suitability and U.S. Government public trust clearance.
- Clean driving record required and willingness to provide a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) upon request
- Significant nationwide travel required.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb work ladders, use portable power tools, and work in varied weather and terrain conditions.
