Your role and responsibilities

Pega Technical Lead, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):

  • Monitor the progress of project, bugs and issues using Jira project management tool.
  • Collaborate with client subject matter experts and architect to understand pain points and project requirements, including creating functional design, constructing class hierarchy and object models, and defining test strategies.
  • Deliver daily and weekly updates to the client leadership team via calls, covering project status, ticket status, innovative ideas, and business proposals for new enhancements.
  • Work with the team to provide a learning environment, foster innovation through coaching and mentoring, and offer constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate to resolve production defects and tickets, conduct in-depth root cause analysis of application and infrastructure related issues, and provide resolutions by implementing code changes and moving them to production.
  • Monitor daily changes, assess their impact on application and approve or reject them accordingly.
  • Handle tickets and change related reporting to the leadership team.
  • Utilize: PEGA PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander), DB2/SQL Server, PAL (Pega Performance Analyzer), Unix Shell Scripting, Power Shell Scripting, Ansible Automation, Win Automation, Jira, Integrated Service Management (ISM).

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept Associate's degree plus two (2) years of IT experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree) and two (2) years of experience as a Pega Technical Lead or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing PEGA PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander), DB2/SQL Server, PAL (Pega Performance Analyzer), Unix Shell Scripting, Power Shell Scripting, Ansible Automation, Win Automation, Jira, Integrated Service Management (ISM). $102200 to $151800 per year.
