Job Summary:

We are seeking a Field Networking Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to support our client sites for a 2-day consultancy. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in networking, troubleshooting, and deploying network infrastructure, with a strong understanding of industry protocols and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment at client locations.
  • Conduct site surveys and network assessments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues both remotely and on-site.
  • Implement network security measures aligned with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Provide support for network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Ensure compliance with client-specific networking policies and standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in networking roles.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with WAN/LAN architecture, VPNs, wireless technologies, and VLAN configurations.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
