Experienced in data analytics, with both hands-on skill and sufficient domain knowledge.
Support the Metrics and Data Controls Lead in platform development for insights into data quality issues.
Write data and feature specifications and work with Technology partners on analytics capabilities.
Compile insightful, actionable analysis of trends against Data Quality Indicators for senior management.
Plan and coordinate UAT activities for new business analytics capabilities.
Provide hands-on technical data support for the Price Risk Metrics and Control Analytics initiative.
Identify Risks & Issues and resolve or escalate them timely and clearly.
Relevant industry experience within the Financial Industry, preferably Business / Data Control Analytics.
Self-starting with proven ability to hit the ground running.
Ability to handle complexity, ambiguity, and fast-changing, demanding environments.
Drive change across a global organization.
Demonstrate analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability.
Excellent attention to detail analyzing and documenting data and business requirements.
Understanding of key data quality themes at process touchpoints in complex technology environments.
Ability to work on own initiative to identify improvement opportunities and data insights.
Use Python/Jupyter notebooks for data analysis.
Use SQL for data analysis.
Good Tableau skills to support data analysis and storytelling with visualizations.
Experience with advanced Tableau reporting/analytics for Control / Business Data Analytics.
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
Good understanding of Control points in Price Risk Front Office valuation and their interaction with Market Risk Management and Product Control.
Strong business and data analysis skills.
Exposure to python data science libraries (e.g. SciKit-Learn) a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to deliver targeted messaging to senior stakeholders efficiently and succinctly.
The role will be part of a core central data analytics project delivery team, charged with ensuring the timely execution of deliverables across multiple workstreams, whilst imparting their subject matter expertise and know-how of business analytics techniques and delivery. The candidate must be an individual experienced in data analytics, with both hands-on skill and with sufficient domain knowledge to be able to provide meaningful solutions that are functional and sustainable.
