Location : NYC, NY

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end process re-engineering projects within the banking and financial services domain, from initial analysis and discovery to implementation and performance monitoring.
• Utilize a combination of analytical tools, methodologies, and stakeholder engagement to identify areas for improvement and streamline complex business processes.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize workflows, reduce operational costs, and mitigate risks across various functions, including lending, risk management, compliance, and customer service.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, subject matter experts, and technology teams, to gather requirements, define project scope, and align process improvement initiatives with strategic objectives.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems, procedures, and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation or digitization.
• Design and implement robust performance metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of process optimization efforts and track ongoing improvements over time.
• Lead change management efforts to drive organizational buy-in, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure successful adoption of re-engineered processes and tools.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in banking and financial services, and leverage this knowledge to inform process optimization strategies and initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP) preferred.
• Proven experience in process re-engineering, business process optimization, or operations improvement within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with process mapping, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making techniques.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects from conception to implementation.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices relevant to banking and financial services operations.
• Experience with process automation tools, workflow management systems, and business process modelling software is a plus.
