Location: REMOTE But must be located in either Charlotte, NC or Greensboro/Winston-Salem, NC (area) and within a 1-hour drivable distance from Salisbury, NC.

Duration: 1 year + contract
IV Process: 2 interviews starting the week of January12th
Top requirements:

- Asset Management (HAM) and (SAM) experience- 3+ years of experience
- Data cleanup experience and experience running updates within SNOW
- CMDB experience
- Experience creating process or policy documentation
- Must have great communication skills. This person will be front facing and will be responsible for leading meetings and presentations. Presentation creation skills required.
- SAM is a plus++ Retail experience is a plus++
Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Hardware and Software Asset Manager to support our IT Asset Management (ITAM) operations, with a strong emphasis on managing assets through the ServiceNow platform. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in IT operations, procurement, and lifecycle management while contributing to the efficiency and compliance of our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Lifecycle Management:
- Track and manage the lifecycle of IT hardware assets (e.g., laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals) from procurement through disposal.
- ServiceNow Administration:
- Utilize ServiceNow ITAM modules to maintain accurate asset records, update asset statuses, and ensure data integrity.
- Inventory Control:
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of physical and digital asset inventories to ensure alignment with ServiceNow records.
- Procurement Support:
- Assist in hardware procurement processes, including order tracking, vendor coordination, and receiving documentation.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Generate reports on asset utilization, compliance, and performance metrics using ServiceNow dashboards and reporting tools.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT support, procurement, finance, and security teams to ensure proper asset tracking and governance.
- Documentation:
- Maintain and update asset management procedures, user guides, and training materials.
