Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer II with 3 5 years of experience in power electronics testing, validation, and technical project management within the automotive industry. This role will be part of the Powertrain Engineering Operations team at Lucid, contributing to a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) for power electronics systems.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation including technical reports, test plans, validation results, and risk assessments.
  • Track and manage program timelines across multiple projects to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Plan and schedule outsourced testing activities to align with project milestones.
  • Collaborate with Prototype Builds, Global Supply Management, suppliers, and vendors to source components and manage manufacturing services.
  • Work closely with Lucid in-house test labs to drive testing and validation progress.
  • Support verification and validation testing ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Partner with the EHS team to maintain and improve lab safety.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of project management experience in the automotive industry, specifically in power electronics testing & validation.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as battery simulators, AC/DC power supplies, and electronic loads.
  • Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or 3DX.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.
