Audio Visual Manager

Job Description:

IT resource to manage and support the audio-visual build and run requirements for Capgemini APAC. This position will be responsible for managing and participating in new builds and refreshes. The position will also be responsible for managing the regional AV technical resources and interacting with the global AV team to maintain a cohesive audio-visual experience for Capgemini users globally.

New build and refresh responsibilities includes working with our internal teams, architects, construction and technical vendors to design and implement audio visual solutions in our facilities.

Total Exp: 7+ years

Shift/Timing:

Occasional after hours support

Ability to travel to support builds, refreshes and events



Roles & Responsibilities:

Work with appropriate specifying teams including corporate real estate, projects, architects, end users and others to understand the overall requirements.

Provide feedback to same teams regarding Capgemini Audio Visual standards and how they can meet their requirements. As necessary assist in designing custom requirements when Capgemini standard solutions will not meet requirements.

Specify BOM (bill of materials) to provide to procurement for quoting and review quotes for accuracy and then follow Capgemini standard ordering processes.

Create RFP's (request for proposals) to provide to procurement to submit to vendors for solution design and implementation services.

Review all quotes to understand if they are accurate and meet the needs specified by requirements provided.

Follow appropriate Capgemini processes to place orders for equipment and implementation services.

Follow up as appropriate to guarantee the delivery of equipment and services including gaining regular updates on status from vendors on ordered items.

Working with local site resources to facilitate the scheduling and delivery of equipment and coordination with vendors.

Coordinate with all teams regarding proper implementation of solutions.

If necessary, create dimensioning diagrams for vendors to use for installations.

Perform site visits as needed to verify installation progress and perform commissioning.

Gather all relevant documentation and archive in appropriate repositories and databases. To including code, as built drawings, asset information and other relevant information.



Technical Skillset

Audio Visual

General experience with audio-visual equipment and concepts - Cisco VC,Crestron Airmedia; Control system; Switching, Barco Click share, Ligtware switching, Shure audio, Yahama audio, QSC DSP; audio, Kramer

Experience installing AV solutions and components.

Working knowledge on the function/support of various AV components including:

AV Codec's and cameras

AV Control Systems

Wireless sharing devices

AV over IP

HDMI, USB-C and other AV connectivity methods

Microphones and speakers

Networking

General understanding network concepts and components

Understanding of IP addressing and VLANs

Ability to understand and articulate network requirements for AV equipment and solutions
