Job Details

Description

The primary duties of this position will be to provide cyber engineering and administrative support to Navy coalition networks. The candidate focus mainly on Cyber Security activities, to include scanning, patching, and engineering solutions
  • Leading efforts to validate security controls, verifying STIG configurations, and scheduling / executing frequent ACAS scans
  • Leading monthly patching requirements, IAVA remediation's, EXORDS, and driving to ensure system security
  • Participating in and providing inputs for accreditation and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes
  • Utilizing both written and verbal communications skills and collaborating effectively in a team environment
  • Develop system level documentation, as needed

Requirements

  • Five (5) or more years direct experience with:
    • ACAS / Nessus administration and scanning of DoD systems
    • System Patching, to include network / network devices, Windows, RHEL, Exchange, and more
    • Familiarity with ESS/ HBSS, ePolicy Orchestrator
    • Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) configurations, STIG Viewer
    • Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and vulnerability analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • with active DoD Secret clearance, ability to upgrade to Top Secret
  • Eligible for CSWF IAT II (Security+ certification at minimum)

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Software, Systems, Network, or Industrial Engineering; Computer
  • Science; Information Technology or Assurance; Cybersecurity.
  • CISSP a plus
  • Experience directly supporting large Navy, Coalition, or Tactical network a plus
  • Automation and scripting experience a plus
  • Desire for process improvement
  • Working National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security controls, Risk Management
  • Framework (RMF), and other Navy / DoD security compliance processes

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET ELIGIBILITY

Travel Requirements

  • 3-4 OCONUS trips per year (1-2 week trip duration)
