Job Role: Embedded Software Engineer
Role Description:
We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain real-time embedded software applications. These applications include software products related to image processing, target detection and tracking, missile guidance/navigation/control algorithms, missile launchers, system control, built-in test, and system communication. Development will be primarily in C++ on a Linux-based environment or using real-time operating systems like VxWorks or Integrity.

Job Role: Embedded Software Engineer
Role Description:
We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain real-time embedded software applications. These applications include software products related to image processing, target detection and tracking, missile guidance/navigation/control algorithms, missile launchers, system control, built-in test, and system communication. Development will be primarily in C++ on a Linux-based environment or using real-time operating systems like VxWorks or Integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain real-time embedded software applications.
- Work on software products related to image processing, target detection and tracking, missile guidance/navigation/control algorithms, missile launchers, system control, built-in test, and system communication.
- Utilize C++ in a Linux-based environment or real-time operating systems such as VxWorks or Integrity.
- Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, code implementation, integration, and testing.
- Provide technical task leadership and/or serve as a subject matter expert in relevant areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with standard communication busses and protocols (RS-232, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet) is beneficial but not required.
- Strong background in real-time embedded software development.
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
- Familiarity with source code control and issue tracking tools.
- Proficiency in using modern test tools for unit testing and static analysis.
- Ability to configure and manage a continuous test environment.
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of Cyber Security principles.
- Experience with Department of Defense products.
- Familiarity with board support package and device driver development.
