Description

We are looking for an accomplished IT Director to oversee global IT operations, security, and compliance initiatives. This leadership role involves shaping the strategic vision for IT infrastructure, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures, and driving compliance with international standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a proven ability to manage distributed teams, and a commitment to fostering secure and scalable technology solutions.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive global IT strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of IT professionals, including contractors and in-house staff.
Oversee vendor relationships, budgeting, and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective IT operations.
Design and execute a proactive cybersecurity strategy, including risk assessments and incident response plans.
Establish and maintain IT policies, internal controls, and documentation to support compliance with global regulatory standards.
Ensure adherence to major compliance frameworks, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
Manage enterprise IT systems, cloud-based tools, and core infrastructure across global and remote environments.
Implement best practices for data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT processes meet organizational needs and support operational efficiency.
Drive automation and continuous improvement across IT workflows and systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
At least 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years in a global or multi-site environment.
Proven expertise in leading security, risk management, and compliance programs in hybrid or cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related certifications.
Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or similar technologies.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Strong technical understanding of computer hardware, backup technologies, and Cisco systems.
Hands-on experience with deskside support and IT deployments in diverse environments.
