Location: North Little Rock, Arkansas

Salary/Pay Rate: $85,000

Type: Direct Hire (REMOTE OPTION) 

 

Archon Resources is currently looking for a MEP Analyst that is direct hire to join one of our best clients located in North Little Rock, AR. This is a permanent position with full benefits including medical, vision, dental, PTO, & 401k.  
 

Summary:

We are seeking a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Analyst to lead a high-performing team of technical professionals. This leadership role focuses on overseeing VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) coordination projects, team development, and client satisfaction through exceptional project execution.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, effective project leader, and experienced in managing multidisciplinary design teams and complex construction workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage a team of MEP professionals, conducting regular one-on-one meetings to support performance, goal-setting, and career growth.

  • Deliver structured performance reviews (annual and mid-year) and provide actionable feedback.

  • Cultivate a team culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee team leads and assist with workload balancing and resource allocation across projects.

  • Review and approve Scopes of Work (SOWs) and provide scoping support to other team members as needed.

  • Participate in client discovery calls, initial assessments, and project meetings to define and align deliverables.

  • Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to coordinate resources and ensure seamless project execution.

  • Work with leadership on forecasting team capacity, billable projections, and scheduling needs.

  • Manage project issues, scope changes, and the development of change orders when applicable.

  • Supervise internal scheduling and team PTO to ensure alignment with ongoing project requirements.

  • Assign and monitor QA/QC responsibilities to uphold consistency and efficiency across deliverables.

  • Partner with the sales and project teams to set expectations and ensure a successful project kickoff and execution phase.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in managing VDC efforts on projects of varying scope and scale.

  • Familiarity with construction and design industry standards and workflows.

  • Proven ability to oversee budgets, schedules, and scope for technical project teams.

  • Comfortable participating in early-stage client conversations to define project vision and requirements.

  • Strong organizational and scoping abilities, with experience developing and reviewing SOWs.

  • Ability to manage and respond to evolving client needs, including changes in scope and budget.

  • Demonstrated success in leading technical teams and developing talent.

  • Skilled in feedback delivery, mentorship, and performance planning.

  • Experience allocating resources and managing priorities across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Hands-on knowledge of tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) or similar platforms.

  • Understanding of quality assurance/control standards and best practices in design coordination.
