Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a long-term contract position within the dynamic healthcare industry, offering the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, coding, and developing robust software solutions using modern web technologies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement software solutions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Design, write, and maintain clean and efficient code for web-based applications.
Utilize Node.js and Electron frameworks to create scalable applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software.
Perform extensive testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.
Apply ISO standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and others to maintain compliance and quality.
Conduct design verification to validate the functionality and integrity of developed systems.
Optimize software solutions for performance, scalability, and security.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into development processes where applicable.
Requirements
Proficiency in programming languages, including C and JavaScript frameworks like Node.js.
Experience with Linux environments and web technology stacks.
Familiarity with ISO standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 14971, and others.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, including experience with tools like FindBugs.
Ability to perform design verification and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
