Role: SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) Architect
Duration : 1 year
Location : Remote

Scope of tasks:
Candidate MUST HAVE

A&D / discrete manufacturing experience.
Experience as a Team Lead involving a US deployment of an SAP S/4HANA global design with localization in US geography.
Procure-to-Pay (P2P) manages the supplier facing side of the supply chain, including the identification and onboarding of new suppliers, procurement requisition and order management, inbound logistics, inventory management for goods receipt, invoice payment, vendor evaluation and spend analysis. Also includes global trade integration. As such, specific SAP module configuration and deployment experience includes: Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), Quality Management (QM), Logistics Execution (LE).
Must be experienced with these modules in a complex OEM Aviation, Aerospace & Defense manufacturer (preferred),
although experience in Automotive or Industrial Products (e.g., Caterpillar, John Deere, etc.) is also applicable.
Must understand the processes for Procurement, logistics services, and outside manufacturing services.
Quick response EDI experience in a JIT door to floor environment feeding a manufacturing OEM line.
Familiar with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
Some knowledge of Import/Export as it relates to purchasing is a plus.
Knowledge of Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) Program flow down is a plus.
QM as it relates to incoming inspection also a plus.
Familiarity with SAP Roadmap for respective Value Stream and ability to define a target end-state and transitional plan within context of customer project portfolio
Maintain a forward looking vision for how customer drives the most value from their existing investment in SAP software
Identify relevant 'blind spots' and provide targeted PoV/recommendations to mitigate this includes addressing impact of items on SAP's simplification list

Responsibilities of Role:

Collaborate in the development and articulation of strong value propositions for transformational initiatives from process SME and S/4HANA perspectives
Apply strong knowledge of the business processes for developing and testing ERP functions associated with business operations.
Facilitate Explore workshops (solution architecting, requirements gathering) with business managers, client staff, and end-users to determine business and functional requirements
Review and/or perform design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA systems to meet client business requirements
Ability to create business process procedures (BPP's), swim lane process flows, functional specifications, configuration guides and testing scripts
Assist Data Stewards with Master Data transformation and load from legacy system to S/4HANA
Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
Provide leadership to junior systems analysts and client personnel assigned to projects
Other Qualifications:

A minimum of five (5) years prior professional consulting or equivalent business process industry experience
At least five (5) years of hands-on systems configuration experience within a leading ERP module (SAP)
Successful completion of at least three full life cycle implementations of S/4HANA
Successful completion of the rollout and localization of a global template
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions when necessary
Familiar with Agile methodology and its constructs
Expert in using MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Project)
