The ideal candidate has proven expertise in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform. This role requires someone who can operate independently while collaborating closely with Security and Compliance teams to deliver production-ready, compliant cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and optimize secure, high-performance VDI environments in AWS GovCloud or other regulated cloud regions.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform (Pulumi experience is a plus).
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and compliance across all cloud infrastructure and VDI solutions.
  • Collaborate with Security, IT, and Compliance teams to align architecture with regulatory requirements.
  • Create detailed documentation of architecture, processes, and configurations for internal knowledge transfer.
  • Continuously improve deployment processes, automation, and monitoring practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Senior-level (Level 4) experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Deep expertise with Terraform for building and managing cloud environments.
  • Strong background in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in delivering secure, production-grade systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud deployments.
  • Familiarity with Pulumi and other IaC frameworks.
  • Experience implementing VDI solutions in regulated industries (Government, Defense, Healthcare, Finance).
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, or DFARS.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect).
  • Experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
  • Background in security and compliance automation.
