Test Program Integration Engineers (TPI) (Experience, Lead or Senior)

The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Test Program Integration Engineers (TPI) to join our team in Seattle, WA supporting the growing franchise of Mobility & Surveillance platforms, including E-7 AEW&C.

In this position, you will integrate lab and aircraft flight test statement of work with program leaders and across the BT&E organization to develop test and evaluation strategies, coordinate proposal and execution plans and monitor and report performance. You will lead projects within a cross-functional team environment, demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, and utilize your Engineering expertise to support current business processes.

Our engineers support systems labs & integration, wind tunnel and experimental ground & flight test with our global team of pilots, test engineers and customers.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experience, Lead and Senior level Test Program Integration Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Directly supports Test Program Management in architecting and efficiently executing successful test programs
  • Coordinates the test schedule baseline, strategy and relationships of key program milestones
  • Defines test organization support, teaming relationships and major resources (including long lead)
  • Utilizes project management skills & tools to align project milestones, dependencies and requirements
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to lead working groups, coordination meetings and program reviews
  • Leads development of test proposals and detailed T&E plans in support of the Enterprise Standard Gated Practice (EPGS), including technical volume, cost volume, program execution plan, basis of estimate (BOE)
  • Participates in trade studies and change management process to ensure the organization, work statement, schedule, costs, and RIO are kept in sync
  • Works with Earned Value Management (EVM), Cost Account Manager (CAM), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Configuration Management (CM) / Data Management, Risk Issues Opportunities (RIO), Charge Line Authorization and Setup (CLAS)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in test procedure development, test execution, and test reporting
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating and working across teams
  • 3+ years of experience in project management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 5: 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current U.S. Security Clearance (or ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance post-start)
  • 3+ years of experience working in a developmental lab and/or flight test environment
  • 1+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience working directly with military customers or regulatory agencies on programs
  • Experience with large, transport category aircraft test programs

Summary Pay Range for Experienced level (Level 3): $102,000 - $138,000

Summary Pay Range for Lead (Level 4): $121,550 - $164,450

Summary Pay Range for Senior (Level 5): $145,350 - $196,650
