Role: Senior Cobol CICS Developer

Remote Role

Description

We are looking for a talented and highly effective Senior COBOL CICS Developer to join our development and support team. We are currently supporting, enhancing and maintaining the state-wide SNAP/TANF Eligibility Determination system. The enhancements include the use of the latest technologies as needed to interface/integrate with other systems on different platforms and automation of current processes.

Required Experience

Enterprise System Programming experience in COBOL CICS, utilising ADABAS database. Experienced in
troubleshooting complex SNAP and TANF eligibility determination systems in a Linux enviroment utilizing
MicroFocus COBOL is an enterprise developer. Ability to create new screens and functionality to integrate with the legacy system.

Experience in the analysis, design, and programming of large or complex development projects on large-scale IBM Mainframe/Linux systems.

Experience with automated eligibility determination systems specifically SNAP and TANF Eligibility, SNAP
E&T, Benefits, Benefit Recovery.

Ability to provide subject matter expertise on Mainframe CICS system architectures.
