Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead a team in developing and improving manufacturing work instructions and documentation. You will be responsible for re-writing and standardizing assembly instructions, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and up-to-date. This role requires a blend of strong technical skills and effective team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team to create and update manufacturing documentation.
• Rewrite manufacturing instructions by reviewing existing documentation, capturing images of the assembly process, and consolidating various notes and job aids into a cohesive, standardized format.
• Generate and review new work instructions and associated documentation, ensuring all materials are clear and ready for use on the production floor.
• Develop visual aids to support manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with assemblers and other team members to ensure all documentation is accurate and reflects best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a related field.
• 4+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing team or as a product line lead.
• Proficiency in Teamcenter (Product Lifecycle Management) and NX (CAD/CAM/CAE).
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint or similar tools for creating presentations and visual aids.
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive projects to completion.

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing
• Familiarity with various manufacturing processes.
• Experience creating and managing technical documentation in a regulated environment.
