Position: HR Data Analyst (Data/Reporting Analyst)
Location: Open to remote, need to be ok with working in CST
Duration: 2-3 months
Start Date: ASAP
Job Details:
The role will be highly focused on reporting, but the person doesn t need to have an HR-specific background. We just have a ton of metrics to crank through and not enough hands to do it at the moment. There is a chance we ll need this resource to help with other HR or project tasks unrelated to data, but that is more like 5% of the job. This person would need to organize the data, set up the dashboard, do the formatting, and create the style guide. Once it s done train the team, how do we make edits, if we want to see different cuts of data how is that done? This person will be communicating with higher ups on the team and need to have good communication they will be putting these data samples together for senior level of audience.
Key Responsibility:
o Create and update Tableau dashboards
o Consolidate data into single sources of truth
o Develop visualizations both within and outside of Tableau
o Occasional support (approx. 5%) on non-data-related HR or project tasks
Data focus areas:
o Training tools
o Learning and development
o Workday data
o Some manually tracked data provided by the core HR team
- Must have:
- Strong Tableau, bank is only using Tableau for visualization
Proficient in excel and PowerPoint, advanced in Tableau
Less applicable to think about industry, bonus if they have financial services, largely working with HR systems (bonus if they have been working with HR data)
Someone that is willing to create a lot of reports, in a high quality manner, looking for someone who can be independent (cannot train) (someone that knows how to give best practice of data visualization)
Knows how to create dashboards
Tableau is the visualization, will be extracting from workday
To help create dashboards, create live dashboards
Looking for someone to crunch numbers, create reports, clean data
Comfortable with metrics, reporting, and data visualization
A few thousand lines of data
- 95% Data and Reporting
- 5% non-reporting, someone on the team is going on MAT leave so may have some unrelated data task

The HR Data Analyst will own the reporting and analytics for a major Learning and Development initiative and will provide support to the HR team in other capacities.
Job Description
- Extract and summarize data related to an enterprise Learning and Development initiative
- Partner with HR leaders to create and maintain data to support analytics needs and to ensure integrity and consistency of reporting.
- Conduct data gathering and needs assessments on an ongoing basis to provide quantitative analysis that produces actionable insights for the business.
- Develop and deliver timely and accurate HR scorecards dashboards and reports that are aligned with business requirements
- Leverage data visualization best practices
- Communicate analyses and provide insights as needed
- Support the Organizational Development and HR Business Partner teams with additional tasks outside of reporting and analytics
