Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity / Enterprise Security Specialist with a strong foundation in .Net technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect our organization's information systems and data. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard the organization s information assets.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle, ensuring secure coding practices are followed.

Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.

Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats.

Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the organization s security posture.

Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong knowledge of .Net framework and its security features.

Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.

Experience with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

Ability to analyze security incidents and develop effective response strategies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices.

Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.

Knowledge of programming languages such as C# or Java.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
