Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Business Development Manager with a strong background in the MedTech industry to lead and expand our sales efforts across key regions of the North American market. This role requires a deep understanding of the American market for medical technologies, healthcare systems, and regulatory environments, combined with proven leadership in selling services and solutions to leading MedTech OEMs.
Key Responsibilities:
- As the Business Development Leader, you will play a critical role in developing and executing the company s strategy for selling services to the MedTech industry in the USA. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth through new partnerships and long-term client relationships.
Business Strategy Development:
Lead the development and execution of business development strategies for selling services and solutions to MedTech companies.
Identify key market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to shape the company s approach.
Drive the expansion into new geographic regions in North America.
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients within the MedTech sector.
Leverage networks, industry events, and partnerships to generate new leads and opportunities.
Coordinate with marketing to create compelling sales materials, case studies, and presentations.
- Relationship Management:
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing MedTech clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and consistent communication.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client retention.
- Sales & Revenue Growth:
Set and achieve sales targets that includes revenue and profitability goals.
Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client needs.
- Forecasting & Reporting:
Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and business updates to senior management.
Track KPIs and ensure consistent use of CRM tools.
Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in Biomedical, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8 - 10 years of experience in business development or sales leadership, specifically within the MedTech or healthcare industry.
- Experience in selling services related to regulatory compliance, clinical trials, product development, or manufacturing in the MedTech sector.
- Good understanding of MedTech regulatory environment, product life cycles, and market dynamics.
- Experience with key MedTech stakeholders, including R&D teams, regulatory affairs, and C-suite executives.
- Established network of contacts within the MedTech industry.
- Strong understanding of emerging trends in digital health, AI in MedTech, or medical device innovation.
- Use a consultative selling approach to understand client pain points and present tailored services and solutions.
