Job Details

We are seeking an experienced L3 AMS Teamcenter Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot complex PLM issues, and ensure smooth operations of Teamcenter environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter Administration, Configuration, and Customization, along with excellent problem-solving and customer-support skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 3 support for Teamcenter environments, addressing escalated incidents, defects, and enhancement requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Teamcenter issues related to performance, configuration, integrations, and data management.
  • Support and maintain Teamcenter modules: Workflow, Change Management, BMIDE, Structures, Visualization, Classification, etc.
  • Work closely with L2 support teams, business users, and technical teams to analyze root causes and apply corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with development teams for patch installations, upgrades, environment maintenance, and enhancements.
  • Manage Teamcenter deployments, releases, and environment monitoring.
  • Document root cause analysis (RCA), solutions, configurations, and process updates.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, ITIL processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Teamcenter support and administration.
  • Strong expertise in Teamcenter UA, BMIDE, TC Rich Client / Thin Client, and Workflow configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with TcRA, Active Workspace (AWC), and integrations with CAD tools (NX, CATIA, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Teamcenter Architecture, multi-tier environments, and infrastructure components.
  • Experience in debugging logs, server issues, indexing issues, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries and basic database troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an AMS environment with ITIL processes.
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter customization using ITK, RAC, SOA, Java, or TCL is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud hosting environments (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
