We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong analytical and technical skills to support data-driven decision-making and ETL development. The ideal candidate will have experience in Python, SQL, and AWS services (Glue ETL and Redshift), as well as prior exposure to data engineering and analytics projects in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with business users to gather and document database and reporting requirements.

  • Create source-to-target mapping documents for ETL development teams.

  • Design and validate database changes and participate in functional design discussions.

  • Write and execute SQL queries to support data validation and analysis.

  • Develop ETL scripts using Python and AWS Glue for data transformation and integration.

  • Support the testing process, including creating and executing test scripts for data loads.

  • Assist in resolving data quality and integration issues through root cause analysis.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery of deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for ETL and data analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Glue ETL, Redshift, and other AWS data services.

  • Working knowledge of AngularJS for front-end data visualization or workflow integration.

  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

  • Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and data mappings.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Experience using testing tools such as Mercury Quality Center or HP Quality Center is preferred.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 10 15 years of experience in software development or data analytics projects of similar scope and complexity.

  • Professional certifications related to data analytics or AWS are a plus.
