Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred
- Over 10 years of hands-on software development experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a technical leadership or managerial role
- Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring software teams of 5 or more, with a focus on continuous learning and technical excellence
- Adept at aligning technical strategies with business objectives while supporting team growth and managing stakeholder expectations
- Deep expertise in modern web development tools and frameworks, including:
- .NET and C#
- Modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)
- Cloud platforms and architecture (preferably Azure)
- Database architecture, design, and management
- API development and systems integration
- DevOps methodologies and toolsets
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent are highly valued
- Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation and driving technical modernization initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all organizational levels
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies
- Experience with budgeting, resource planning, and managing diverse project portfolios
- Track record of delivering high-impact projects in a corporate or enterprise setting
- Ability to strategically manage technical debt while balancing business priorities
- Skilled in establishing and enforcing development standards and engineering best practices
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint and Power Platform

Daily Responsibilities:
- Lead software development and systems integration efforts across multiple initiatives
- Oversee the successful execution of custom web applications, data integrations, and modernization projects
- Manage and mentor a team of developers and analysts, promoting professional development and technical excellence
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of tailored software solutions, system updates, and platform integrations
- Define and enforce development standards, best practices, and architectural frameworks
- Strategically address technical debt through modern development approaches and long-term planning
- Oversee the full project lifecycle-from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
- Develop team growth strategies, including skill-building programs and internal knowledge-sharing
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, align goals, and manage expectations
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural direction for complex initiatives
- Coordinate resource planning, capacity management, and project prioritization efforts
- Conduct regular team performance reviews and deliver actionable feedback
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and project risks
- Serve as a strategic advisor to IT leadership on emerging technologies, innovation, and change management
