Pay Range: $40-$45/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide laboratory support for the Flight Controls Compact Fly-by-Wire engineering team.
  • Your work will include support for lab support, testing, data analysis, and the accurate reporting of data.
  • You will support the team to conceptualize, design, plan and implement innovative technologies that enable new and competitive products.
  • Able to test electronic hardware to ensure functional performance.
  • Able to solder / modify fine pitch components under a microscope.
  • Troubleshooting Analog and digital circuits
  • Test cable fabrication.
  • DO-160 EMI testing.
  • Electronics assembly, rework, and test
  • Circuit troubleshooting down to the component level.
  • Perform testing per Engineering direction.
  • Microsoft Office (Email, Word, Excel) proficient
  • Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

  • Required Keywords: (Testing or test) and (hardware or circuit or components or equipment or assembly or electronic or circuits) and (“DO-160” or “DO 160” or DO160 or 160 or "Flight Control" or “EET” or “electrical engineering” or “engineering technology”).
  • 5 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or a EET Degree or equivalent.
  • Have practical experience working with engineering equipment.
  • Be able to find effective solutions based on root causes.
  • Sound technical judgment and opinions.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team or project setting.
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently, take the initiative to get things done,
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
  • Creative problem solving.
