Job Title : AR/VR Developer
Location - Remote till the contract ends, Greensboro, NC is where company is located - would want someone to relocate once role is converted to Full-time

Responsibilities:
- Develop immersive applications for Apple Vision Pro (visionOS) and macOS, focused on visualizing transportation design concepts.
- Collaborate with designers and visualization specialists to bring real-world vehicle designs into mixed-reality environments.
- Build applications for product visualization and design reviews in spatial computing contexts.
- Create real-time immersive applications that track and measure user interactions to inform design decisions.
- Develop interactive visualizations using mixed-reality and visionOS tools.
- Support design review apps, virtual walkarounds, and in-cab experience simulators.
- Prototype spatial UX interfaces tailored to industrial/commercial vehicle workflows.
Experience:
- Proficiency in Obj-C, C++ and/or C; Swift; knowledge of Python and Java.
- Deep understanding of iOS/macOS system libraries and frameworks.
- Expertise with Swift concurrency APIs and Apple CPU/GPU architecture.
- Experience delivering high-quality software and debugging complex systems.
- Solid understanding of AR/VR spatial computing and performance tuning.
- Expertise with 3D software (e.g., Rhino, Alias, Blender) and CAD tools.
- Experience with rendering platforms (e.g., KeyShot, VRED, Unreal Engine).
- Ability to optimize complex CAD models for real-time AR use.
- Strong grasp of materials, lighting, and scene composition.
- Familiarity with transportation/mobility design workflows.
- Experience translating 3D concepts into interactive AR experiences.
- Expertise in prototyping UI/UX flows for mixed-reality apps.
- Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and design teams.
- Experience optimizing apps for Apple s AVP platforms.
- Experience with 3D asset pipeline integration using Blender, Autodesk tools, Unity, and native Apple frameworks like SwiftUI.
Preferred Experience:
- Advanced mathematics for 3D real-time applications (e.g., linear algebra).
- Understanding of human-centered design and AR/VR prototyping.
- Experience in automotive or transportation sectors.
- Portfolio of mixed-reality applications or visualization tools.
