BA/QA Analyst

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst who has a background as both a Business Analyst and a Quality Assurance Analyst.
• The ideal candidate will have deep experience in both types of functions and can easily adapt to both.

Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions, ensuring a deep understanding of business needs.
• Analyze gathered requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Quality Assurance:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on system requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing procedures, including but not limited to functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.

Documentation:

• Create clear and concise documentation for business processes, system requirements, and test cases.
• Maintain detailed documentation throughout the development and testing life cycle.

Communication:

• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and IT development teams.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, including test results and potential risks.

Process Improvement:

• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, contributing insights to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and improve overall system quality.

Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to end-users during system implementations.
• Serve as a point of contact for business users, addressing inquiries and providing ongoing support.

Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven 5+ experience in business analysis and quality assurance within a software development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
