We are seeking a Temporary Automation Engineer to provide vital support to our automation team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and experience with Siemens Desigo and Allen-Bradley PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the automation team to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Siemens Desigo and Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI systems.
- Assist in the development of automation-related procedures and documentation.
- Provide technical expertise in diagnosing and resolving automation-related issues.
- Support ongoing automation projects and assist in the integration of new automation systems.
- Participate in routine system monitoring and data collection activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all automation activities.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of preventative maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the team to evaluate and recommend improvements in automation processes.
- Provide support and guidance to junior technicians and colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in Siemens Desigo and Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI systems.
- Proven experience in automation maintenance, troubleshooting, and system integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry-standard safety and quality regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
