Position: Senior ServiceNow Developer

Location: San Jose, CA

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining various modules within the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications and workflows. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure custom applications, workflows, and automations within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Design, develop, and support modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB, Knowledge Management, and Asset Management.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and process owners to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Implement and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs with third-party tools and internal systems.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design specs, architecture, and test plans.

  • Perform performance tuning, system stability monitoring, and issue resolution.

  • Stay updated with latest ServiceNow releases and best practices.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and development cycles.

  • Hands-on Scala experience is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 2 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or in a similar role.

  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide), customization, and administration.

  • Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, or other ServiceNow modules.

  • Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, Update Sets, ACLs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

  • Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and REST APIs.

  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
