Job Title: Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid On-site 3 days per week)
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role:
- Our client, a leading medical device organization in San Francisco, is seeking a Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator with proven experience and an active Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional credential. In this role, you will manage, configure, and optimize the Salesforce Health Cloud platform to support patient engagement, care coordination, and regulatory compliance. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence in San Francisco three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce Health Cloud environment.
- Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Configure Health Cloud features such as Care Plans, Patient Timeline, Provider Networks, and Referral Management.
- Support integrations with EHR/EMR systems, patient portals, and other third-party applications.
- Create and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and automation (Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes).
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support clinical, operational, and leadership teams.
- Collaborate with care coordinators, clinicians, and business users to gather requirements and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Perform regular data management tasks including data hygiene, deduplication, imports, and exports.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and Health Cloud updates, implementing new features where beneficial.
- Ensure all configurations and data handling comply with HIPAA and internal governance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional certification (must have).
- Salesforce Administrator certification (Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, and data management best practices.
- Proficiency with Salesforce automation tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Approval Processes.
- Familiarity with healthcare workflows, provider/patient relationships, and integration points.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model with on-site collaboration in San Francisco three days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (MuleSoft, HL7/FHIR APIs, or similar).
- Knowledge of Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud in a healthcare context.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITRUST, or GDPR.
