Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Partner with recruiters to understand position requirements, skills, and experience needed for logistics-related roles.

Partner with hiring managers and business group or organization leads, and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs and develop effective recruiting strategies

Research and identify potential candidates through online databases, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), industry job boards, and logistics networking groups.

Source candidates with utilizing search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market

Directly contact candidates via phone, email, and messaging platforms to introduce job opportunities and assess qualifications.

Build strong talent pipelines through sourcing on job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach for warehouse, transportation, freight, and supply chain positions.

Screen candidates for basic logistics skills, work experience, and interest before passing them to recruiters.

Keep the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) updated with accurate candidate records and sourcing activity.

Track sourcing progress, outreach response rates, and provide regular updates to the recruiting team.

Support employer branding efforts in the logistics community by attending industry events, job fairs, and networking activities.

Collaborate with the recruiting team to improve sourcing strategies and candidate engagement.

Perform other recruiting support tasks as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree required

2+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition

Experience or knowledge of the logistics, warehouse, transportation, or supply chain industry preferred.

Strong research skills and ability to use sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume Search, etc.).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple searches at once.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus.

Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.

May require occasional travel for logistics industry job fairs or recruiting events.
