Job Details
The Wireless & DNAC Engineer provides top-level support for a complex global network, with a primary focus on wireless infrastructure and Cisco DNAC/Catalyst Center. This role ensures operational readiness, resolves escalated network issues, mentors Tier 2 staff, and collaborates with engineering and architecture teams to maintain and improve network performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert support for wireless infrastructure (Aruba, Cisco DNAC, Cisco WLCs, Cisco Prime, ClearPass).

Manage routing and switching (EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, Spanning Tree, overlays).

Conduct packet capture and analysis (Wireshark, Netscout NGenius).

Ensure operational readiness for new deployments and technologies.

Partner with architecture teams to integrate systems into production.

Mentor Tier 2 engineers and improve documentation and monitoring standards.

Participate in major incident response and problem management.
Secondary Skills (Preferred):

Exposure to data center technologies (Cisco Nexus, F5, NetScaler, MPLS, VRF, FabricPath).

Experience with WAN, carrier circuits, and Riverbed accelerators.
Qualifications:

Certifications: CCNP, ACSP, ACMP, or RCSP preferred.

Expertise: Cisco & Aruba wireless technologies, DNAC, TCP/IP, OSI model, packet analysis.

Experience: 10+ years in network operations and engineering roles.

Excellent communication, documentation, and mentoring skills.

Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation.
