IAM

Soni's Client is seeking an Information Security Manager, IAM to lead its Identity and Access Management (IAM) program within the Information Security Office. This individual will be responsible for managing, enhancing, and securing enterprise-wide IAM practices, including the implementation and ongoing operation of an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tool. The role demands strong leadership, deep knowledge of current security best practices, and experience aligning IAM initiatives with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee IAM operations across the enterprise using security tools and platforms.
  
• Lead deployment and integration of the IGA solution while ensuring industry compliance.
  
• Manage user provisioning, access role management, and IAM lifecycle processes.
  
• Develop and enforce IAM policies, procedures, and security standards in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  
• Conduct audits and risk assessments with the GRC team; recommend risk mitigations.
  
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  
• Design and maintain Directory Services across cloud and on-prem environments (Azure, AWS).
  
• Implement IAM design patterns for secure authentication/authorization systems.
  
• Ensure compliance with NIST cybersecurity standards and internal policies.
  
• Stay current with IAM and IGA trends, tools, and threat landscapes.
  
• Develop training programs to promote IAM awareness across departments.
  
• Lead IAM strategy development, roadmap planning, and architecture refinement.
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity and IAM, with hands-on IGA tool and cloud platform integration.
  
• Professional certifications in Information Security are preferred.
  
• Proficient in IAM technologies and protocols (Azure AD, Entra ID, ADFS, SSO, SAML, MFA, PAM).
  
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, SOX, FDA).
  
• Experience with security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS, CoBit).
  
• Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
  
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  
• Strong organizational, planning, and leadership capabilities.
