About the Role
We re looking for a ServiceNow CPQ Solution Architect with deep experience to design and deliver next-generation quote-to-cash solutions. You ll own the end-to-end architecture for complex product configuration and pricing, leveraging ServiceNow (CPQ / Order Management / CSM) integrated with as the advanced configuration engine.
You ll partner with business, product, and engineering teams to translate complex selling motions into scalable, maintainable architectures that improve sales efficiency, margin, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution & Technical Architecture
- Lead architecture, design, and end-to-end solutioning for ServiceNow CPQ implementations integrated with .
- Define target architecture, integration patterns, and data flows across ServiceNow, , CRM, billing, and ERP.
- Design complex configuration, pricing, and rules models (bundles, options, constraints, eligibility, approvals) in and ServiceNow CPQ.
- Set and enforce best practices for CPQ architecture, performance, security, and governance.
Implementation & Delivery
Lead fit-gap analysis, solution workshops, and technical design sessions with business and IT stakeholders.
Own creation and review of solution design docs, configuration workbooks, integration specs, and test plans.
Guide and support configuration / development teams working on ServiceNow (Flows, data model, UI, workflows) and (attribute model, rules, calculators).
Oversee end-to-end testing: unit, SIT, UAT, performance, and production cutover for CPQ releases.
Business Partnership
Engage with Sales, Sales Ops, RevOps, Product, and Finance to understand catalogs, pricing models, and approval workflows.
Translate complex commercial constructs (subscription, usage, tiered, discounts, partner pricing) into technical CPQ and designs.
Act as trusted advisor on quote-to-cash process improvements, roadmap, and platform capabilities.
Standards, Governance & Enablement
Define design standards, naming conventions, and configuration guidelines for CPQ and .
Conduct solution and code reviews to ensure scalability, reuse, and maintainability.
Create architecture diagrams, knowledge articles, and training to upskill admins, developers, and business users.
Provide L3/architect-level support for complex CPQ issues in production.
Required Qualifications
8+ years overall experience in enterprise applications / SaaS implementation.
4 5+ years hands-on experience with CPQ platforms (ServiceNow CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, etc.).
2+ years focused experience implementing or architecting or similar advanced configuration engines (rules-based or constraint-based configurators).
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow in at least one of:
ServiceNow Order Management / Telecom / OM
ServiceNow CSM / ITSM / FSM with quote / order capabilities
Deep understanding of:
Product & service catalog modeling
Configuration & dependency rules (compatibility, inclusion/exclusion, cardinality)
Pricing methods (subscription, usage, tiered, volume, discounts, promotions)
Approval workflows and deal desks
Strong background with integrations between CPQ and CRM (e.g., Salesforce), billing, ERP, and payment systems (REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, iPaaS, etc.).
Solid skills in data modeling, JSON/REST, scripting, and understanding of how executes rules and calculations.
Proven track record as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant, driving end-to-end delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead workshops, present architecture, and influence senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior hands-on implementation with ServiceNow CPQ / Order Management integrated with .
Experience in B2B SaaS, subscriptions, or complex services (multi-year, co-terming, renewals, amendments).
Familiarity with RevOps / quote-to-cash ecosystems (Zuora, BillingPlatform, NetSuite, SAP, etc.).
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS CSM / OM / Telecom) and any training or certifications.
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and using tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
