Job Description:

Ross Stores is seeking a Business Continuity Analyst for a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity based in Dublin, CA. This role will be instrumental in supporting business continuity planning, crisis management, and risk mitigation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications, excellent documentation skills, and experience in developing and executing continuity strategies.

Top Requirements:

  • Experience: 3 5 years in business continuity planning, crisis management, and stakeholder coordination
  • Certifications: DRII Certification required; CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) is a strong plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and develop detailed Business Continuity (BC) plans
  • Facilitate and participate in tabletop exercises and scenario-based testing
  • Support crisis management and incident response by adhering to established playbooks
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Create, maintain, and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist in compliance and audit activities related to continuity planning

Required Skills:

    • Strong understanding of risk management principles and business resiliency
    • Proven track record in conducting BIA, managing continuity projects, and stakeholder engagement
    • Experience with crisis simulations and documenting actionable outcomes
    • Proficiency in writing and updating SOPs and procedural documentation

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
