Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Implement standard automation and software quality patterns based on industry best practices. Utilize Agile, Scrum processes in planning, implementing, and supporting business application components and services, including change and release management. Provide technical solution for any new changes to be made or new features to be implemented in the application. Work on making the required configuration changes and using the new configuration in the frontend application to produce the required behavior. Make necessary changes in the backend services to support the new features. Test changes by deploying to development environment. Use the pipeline to deploy changes to UAT. Acting as Security SME for the application fixing any issues identified as part of routine testing and keeping the application secure. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab's internal approach to workplace flexibility.
What you have
Job Requirements: Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 36 months involving the following: .Net, Angular, SOAP and Rest services, and UI/UX; SQL and No-SQL Databases, including MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, or RabbitMQ; Developing and maintaining CI/CD Pipeline; Standard automation and software quality patterns using mocking frameworks, writing Unit Tests, and Integration Tests; and Agile, Scrum processes in planning, implementation, and support of business application components and services, including change and release management and test driven development.
