Job Title: Java Fullstack Lead / Architect
Location: Irving, TX (Local Candidates Preferred)
Rate: $60/hr (C2C)
Type: Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Java Fullstack Lead / Architect to join a strategic project with our client Verizon, through Incedo. This role requires a strong technical leader who can architect scalable enterprise solutions, drive design decisions, and lead development efforts across the full technology stack.

The ideal candidate will be local to Irving, TX, and available for onsite or hybrid work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fullstack development initiatives, overseeing architecture, design, and implementation.

  • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project roadmaps.

  • Mentor and guide a team of developers; perform code reviews and ensure best practices.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues across the stack and ensure smooth deployment to production.

  • Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and business teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

Technical Skills:

Backend:

  • Strong expertise in Java 8/11+, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture

  • RESTful API design and development

  • Experience with JPA/Hibernate, caching mechanisms (Redis, etc.)

Frontend:

  • Proficiency in Angular (8+), React, or similar frameworks

  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript

Cloud/DevOps:

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (preferred: AWS)

  • CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools

  • Containerization with Docker, Kubernetes (nice to have)

Databases:

  • Relational: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL

  • NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra (optional)

Other:

  • Understanding of design patterns, architectural principles, and security best practices

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
