We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to transform raw data into meaningful insights and business intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
Create DAX calculations, measures, and custom visuals to support analytical use cases.
Develop efficient Power Query (M language) transformations and data cleansing processes.
Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.
Implement row-level security (RLS) and access permissions for data governance.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure high-quality data pipelines and sources.
Perform data validation, troubleshoot issues, and support end-users.
Maintain version control, documentation, and report deployment processes.
Stay updated on Power BI and Microsoft Azure BI tools/features.
Required Skills:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Gateway.
Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and data modeling concepts.
Experience in connecting to various data sources (SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, etc.).
Knowledge of Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, ETL/ELT workflows, and BI best practices.
Ability to create interactive, user-friendly dashboards and drill-down reports.
Strong understanding of data visualization principles and design standards.
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, or other Microsoft BI tools.
Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, or the full Power Platform.
Experience with enterprise BI environments and large datasets.
Microsoft certifications such as PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) are a plus.
