Key Responsibilities:
- The Database Administration team supports the Client Brokerage database platform on z/OS, replication between Db2 and Oracle and new database technologies such as Aerospike.
- The team handles end to end support including physical database design, deployment, data replication, Performance tuning and security.
- Providing Application Database and Replication support for a large DB2 z/OS sysplex environment
- Maintenance of Databases Utilities management
- Providing 24x7 on-call support
- Review of Sql/Programs against standards and Performance tuning
- COVID Work Policy
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills; Mainframe, DB2, Z/OS
- Bachelor s in computer science or equivalent with 10 years relevant experience
- Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database Environment
- Experience supporting Client IIDR data replication tools: Q Replication and/or CDC Replication
- Extensive Experience in SQL, REXX, JCL, COBOL
- Working knowledge of CA Database Tools
- Working Knowledge of Performance tuning, Database Security and Access management
- Exposure to distributed database technologies and cloud
- Brokerage Back-office knowledge
