Schedule: Hybrid (with occasional visits to Denver, CO office)

Type: Contract for 3-6 months


Hours: Part-Time, 20-60 hours/month (initial ramp-up, then scale down)


Rate: $55-$75/hour (depending on experience)


Reporting to: VP of Operations



Role Overview


We are seeking a part-time Project Manager with strong experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in rig scheduling and pad construction. This role will serve as a consultant and advisor for optimizing project planning and execution using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner.



Key Responsibilities



  • Review and improve current project structure built in MS Project and Planner

  • Develop and standardize project templates and schedules for internal team use

  • Provide QC, best practices, and efficiency recommendations for project workflows

  • Support and coordinate permitting processes, including surveys and engineering drawings

  • Identify and mitigate potential project bottlenecks by building forward-looking plans

  • Serve as an internal resource to answer questions and guide implementation

  • Adjust project plans based on ongoing changes and operational updates



Required Qualifications



  • PMP Certification (preferred)

  • Extensive experience in the oil & gas sector

  • Hands-on experience with rig scheduling and pad construction projects

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner

  • Experience with permitting workflows and coordination of survey/engineering processes

  • Prior titles such as Development Engineering Technician or Scheduler are relevant
